The Motion Picture Men go out with a bang by covering one of the podcast’s very favorite bad movies. While Van, Spencer, and Brian have seen the majority of Breen’s madman works, Fateful Findings remains the shining example of what can happen at the peak of a junk auteur’s career.
In the first part of this movie, we find out that Neil Breen’s character Dylan encountered magic with a friend as a child, then we see him get hit by a car. Fateful Findings then begins trying to balance many different plots, the most memorable of which involves Dylan spurning his career as a bestselling author to become the world’s premier hacker. It is amazing.

The first chunk of Fateful Findings is super weird, but as the Motion Picture Men are about to explain, the rest is almost hallucinogenic. Dylan’s marriage and career, along with the fate of the world economy, hang in the balance as Neil Breen’s super hacker races against time and psychiatry.
When Dylan’s childhood sweetheart is captured by evaporating criminals, he must retrieve her before enacting the final reveal of his master hacking plan. No politician or banker or businessman or other vaguely evil professional is safe!
The Motion Picture Men are spent, so it’s time for them to turn back into the Boob Tube Boys and cover one of Brian’s favorite Nick at Nite offerings from childhood for the next two weeks.
