While he’s best known for playing the irresistible hunk Bobby Sixkiller on the hit drive-and-smash show Renegade, Branscombe Richmond contains multitudes. Let’s take a Hollyweird peek at five times our main man had us all on the edge of our seats!
- B-Rich can vroom with the best of ’em. That’s right, those wheel feats are real feats when it comes to Branscombe! Richmond was inducted into the Motorycle Hall of Fame in 2003 (presumably) alongside The Undertaker and the concept of chewing tobacco.
- Oh shit, we got a Swayze Trifecta! Just when you think there isn’t any magic left in the world, you realize Branscombe Richmond has achieved a career Patrick Swayze Trifecta. That means our tall drink of water has played 1) a biker (Cannonball Run II), 2) a bartender (The Perfect Weapon), and 3) a bouncer (Trabbi Goes to Hollywood). What will they think of next!
- What are the odds? Branscombe Richmond is from the remote California hamlet of Los Angeles. You have to think he’s made his hometown’s few residents proud. Good on you, Bobby Sixkiller.
- Seagal Square-off! Thanks to their similar place in space and time, Branscombe Richmond and Steven Seagal fist-punched one another in the movie Hard to Kill. As a result, Richmond has the distinction of being one of the few actors to have engaged in a fight scene with the ponytailed warrior that was totally all done standing up.
- Six(string)killer: Branscombe can do it all! The 6’3″ monster plays in a band called Branscombe Richmond and the Renegade Posse when he’s not stealing hearts and money on the silver screen. Richmond lists his musical influences as the sound of the open road, a few wind chimes he heard once as a kid, and Floyd Pepper from the Muppets.
