In honor of our 100th episode we had the idea to do a table read of a script from some show we’ve covered. Eventually that morphed into whatever it is you want to call what we wound up doing (a skit? Sketch? Avant-garde performance?). Basically it is this: We took an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger (S8 E13: Vision Quest) and extracted the most important scenes. We then performed those scenes as all the characters you’ve come to know and love from Walker
But there was one thing missing… something to tie it all together and make it gel. That’s when it hit me: pay Kevin Sorbo assloads of money to do it. Unfortunately I don’t have assloads of money though, so my offer to the great Hercules was not great. Surprisingly he did decide to do it, but he requested that he would be allowed to speak his mind. I suppose I thought that was better than nothing, but in hindsight it led to questionable results
Anyway check this shit out. It’s awesome and hilarious. At some point in the future I’ll be doing a full video using footage from that Walker episode to flesh this thing out, but right now I’m exhausted for having to pump all this shit out in a matter of days. So just listen to it and laugh right now you greedy assholes
